In a unexpected collaboration that defies usual predictions, the game developer has unveiled an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal release, "An unusual encounter leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where rumors of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous transformations echo through the shadows." The storyline presents a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a secret group.

The adventure centers on "bizarre trials and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Changes

The trailer features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the captive, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
